Lighting

The importance of lighting in a home is frequently misunderstood. Room space is often overlooked and lighting, whether natural or artificial, adds mood, ambience and space. Task lighting is also incredibly important when designing kitchens, bathrooms , home office and when highlighting specific areas or objects. Functionality and placement of lighting is critical when designing interiors. Lighting will pull together colours, effect perceived room sizes, enhance furniture and create warmth and atmosphere. Of course choosing the correct fittings is a crucial part of the overall design, whether they are pendant, floor standing, wall, spot lights or table lamps. They induce feelings of calm and relaxation, through to lively and invigorating effects. Lighting has the potential to give life to a space. The crucial elements that evolve when you achieve the right lighting will transform a living space into a seamless combination of illumination, style and functionality.
