Dustin Wise

Managing Director and Space Designer

Having spent over 25 years in the kitchen and interiors industry, my work in this sector began just down the road in Tetbury at just 20 years old.

I worked in a furniture and kitchen manufacturing business, where I very quickly fell in love with design.

I played a rather large part in what started out as a small company, that turned into a multi-million pound business, with retail outlets across the South West.

My obsession for detail and understanding the origins of a product’s design and manufacturing process is still just as important to me today as it was back then. I always ensure that any product we select here at L’una Design lives up to its expectation on both functionality and durability.

Michele Rodriguez-Wise

Creative Director

Alongside my husband and business partner Dustin, I work very closely with our  clients, ultimately designing spaces which will enhance their everyday lives.

I’ve spent over 30 years renovating and redesigning homes of all shapes and sizes across the UK and in Europe too. My very first project was actually my first home I bought in Cheshire at just 20 years old. Since that point, my dream has been to develop stunningly unique and instantly engaging homes and spaces.

My passion for interiors and family living stem from my Spanish heritage. Growing up in Valencia , I was fortunate enough to experience a different culture and way of design, which certainly reflects my creativity here at L’una Design.

Aside from interiors, my other passions in life include being a mum to our beautiful daughters and of course, cooking.

In 2021, I appeared in season 17 of MasterChef and made it all the way to the quarter finals – it was a dream come true!

Interior Designer

I’ve been with the L’una Design team since 2015, starting as an admin assistant and progressing into my role as Designer and Studio Manager.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had a passion and flair for design, studying 3D Spatial and Interior Design at HND level.  After two years working alongside Michele & Dustin they entered me into a National Competition to be sponsored to be one of the first British Students to study a degree course in Kitchen Design and successfully graduated with “flying colours”!

I now head up many of our design projects and spend my days liaising with our clients and suppliers to ensure the process runs smoothly and our clients are left with a home they had only dreamed of.

When I’m not working on interiors, I love to spend my time travelling, taking in the culture of cities across the world. I’m also a massive foodie and a home mixologist, pouring cocktails for my friends and loved ones. I’m torn over my personal favourite, it has to be an Espresso Martini or a Manhattan!

Installation Manager

I qualified as a joiner/carpenter at the age of 19 in Romania spending the following 8 years as a fully accomplished cabinet maker.

After moving to the UK in 2007, my skills and passion for craftsmanship progressed as I began working at a furniture manufacturer in Worcestershire.

However, when I moved to Cheltenham two years later with my wife, my career took a rather different path and I ended up training to become a chef. My desire to ‘be back on the tools’ kept pulling at my heart , which is when I met the L’una Design team.

I started working as an Installation Assistant, installing our bespoke Italian luxury kitchens and furniture.   As time progressed, projects increased and my role became more diverse where I was building systems, furniture and renovating homes and using my craftsmanship in every area of the house.

Ten years later, I am still proud to be a huge part of the L’una family and now head up our installation team and subcontractors.  The diversity of projects and my role is something I never thought would be possible.

I’m also a husband and proud father to a beautiful son and daughter who keep me busy with football training and ballet.  I also (believe it or not) still play football myself, whilst my legs still allow me!

Pip Boocock

Interior Designer

After studying in both Australia and England, I completed my degree in Interior Design at the University of Gloucestershire in 2019.

I began my career designing luxury hotels and pubs across Cheltenham and the wider Cotswolds, which is where my love of historic buildings and their challenges was formed. After a few years working on large-scale hospitality projects, I joined the L’una Design team and shifted my focus to high-end, residential interiors.

Working closely with our design team as well as architects and project managers, my role is to ensure that form and function align when creating your dream home.

I’ll be on hand throughout your journey with L’una Design, whether it’s simply initial inspiration or helping you to choose your fabrics and finishes, all the way down to producing technical drawings and wrapping up the project on installation day.

When I’m not working to create dream homes, I love going on long walks with my labradors, taking photos and working on renovating my own home.

Logistics Manager

I joined the L’una Design team back in November 2021 after gaining previous experience in research, insight and case management in my past roles, as well as in my bachelor’s and master’s degrees within the sport sector.

I manage our key logistical processes here at L’una Design, working closely with the wider team as well as suppliers and trade partners to ensure that all our clients receive the true ‘L’una’ experience.

As well as the above, I also look after the L’una Design social media accounts, helping to plan and post content of what we’re up to each day.

I met the L’una Design team back in 2012 when they designed my dad’s apartment here in Cheltenham. It was actually the team’s first entire home and full turn key project they’d worked on, so it all feels rather full circle.
